How much does the Thailand DTV cost?

By Asia Visa Guide editors · Last verified · draft record, see note

The government fee for the Thailand DTV is $340. Note: Ho Chi Minh City post fee.

About the figure: Ho Chi Minh City post fee. Posts publish the fee in local currency, so it differs by embassy (Kuala Lumpur lists MYR 1,600). A flat baht fee quoted by secondary sites is not stated on the embassy pages checked.

The fee is only part of the cost. This route also asks for proof of savings of ฿500,000, none of which is part of the fee.

Fees are set by the issuing authority and can change without notice, and a fee paid is not refunded if the application is refused on most routes. Confirm the figure on the official page on the day you apply.

Worth knowing before you commit: Rejection rates have risen sharply through 2026, concentrated on freelancers with vague client documentation.

Status of this record: draft. Not every figure has been confirmed character for character against an official page, so check the embassy or authority page before you pay for anything.
