Asia Visa Guide

Privacy

The data controller for this site is Robert Grissom, reachable at hello@asiavisaguide.com.

The eligibility tool does not send us your answers

The visa finder asks for your age, income and savings. Those figures never leave your browser. The comparison is computed client-side against thresholds already contained in the page, there is no form submission, and nothing is stored or transmitted. This is not a policy promise — it is how the page is built, and you can confirm it by watching your browser’s network tab while using it.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links, routed through /go/ so the destination can be maintained in one place. Following one tells the partner you arrived from this site, which is how any commission is attributed. The partner’s own privacy policy governs what happens after you leave. Which relationships are live is listed on the disclosure page.

Analytics

No analytics is in use at the time of writing, and no advertising or tracking scripts are loaded — the site’s content security policy in next.config.tspermits no third-party script origins at all. If that changes, this page will say what was added and why before it goes live, and the intent is to use a cookieless analytics product so that no consent banner is required.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records ordinary request logs including IP address and user agent.

On top of that, the site records two things about each request: whether it came from a known AI crawler, and — if you arrived by clicking a link — thehostname of the site you came from. That is how we measure whether answer engines like ChatGPT or Perplexity are sending readers here, which is the whole premise of the project. No cookie is set, no identifier is assigned, no IP address is stored by us, and the referring URL is deliberately truncated to its hostname so that any search terms it might contain are discarded before anything is written down.

Your rights

Since we hold no account data and collect nothing you type, there is generally nothing to access, correct or erase. If you have written to us, email hello@asiavisaguide.com and that correspondence will be deleted on request.
