By Asia Visa Guide editors · Last verified
The government fee for the Philippines SRRV is $1,500. Note: PRA processing fee for the principal applicant, payable in USD or the peso equivalent.
About the figure: PRA processing fee for the principal applicant, payable in USD or the peso equivalent. A USD 360 annual fee also applies (principal plus two dependents)
The fee is only part of the cost. This route also asks for a deposit or investment of $15,000, none of which is part of the fee.
Fees are set by the issuing authority and can change without notice, and a fee paid is not refunded if the application is refused on most routes. Confirm the figure on the official page on the day you apply.
Worth knowing before you commit: Capital is locked in a Philippine time deposit for as long as you hold the visa.
What changed
1 September 2025: PRA's current requirements page lists principal applicants aged 40 and above. Applicants aged 40–49 without a pension face the highest deposit tier at USD 50,000, but they are eligible, which older guidance says they are not.
