How much does the Malaysia MM2H cost?

The government fee for the Malaysia MM2H is RM1,000. Note: One-off participating fee per principal application on the Silver tier (no participating fee for dependants).
About the figure: One-off participating fee per principal application on the Silver tier (no participating fee for dependants). Higher tiers carry different participating fees, not all of which we have sourced. Separately there is a processing fee of RM5,000 for the principal and RM2,500 for each dependant. Renewal of the Silver pass costs RM1,500 for principal and dependants; within the programme term the sticker renewal carries a visa fee of RM0-RM50 depending on nationality plus a fixed pass fee of RM500 per year. Agent fees are extra and are not government charges.
The fee is only part of the cost. This route also asks for a deposit or investment of $150,000, health insurance that meets the route's conditions, none of which is part of the fee.
Fees are set by the issuing authority and can change without notice, and a fee paid is not refunded if the application is refused on most routes. Confirm the figure on the official page on the day you apply.
Worth knowing before you commit: A property purchase is compulsory on every mainland tier and cannot be replaced by renting — RM600,000 on Silver, RM1,000,000 on Gold, RM2,000,000 on Platinum — and you cannot sell it for 10 years except to upgrade to a more expensive one.
